I don't know him personally, but I used to see him every week for a couple years. I watched him really grow as a player over that time. I remember first seeing him and thinking he was a good local guy, but as time went on I found I would miss his playing if someone else was filling in for him. When more seasoned players would show up, he really elevated his game. As far as his bio, I don't know much. I know he went to college in DC and I believe his father is a music teacher in Baltimore City schools, or perhaps Baltimore County. Good player. I miss seeing him around town.

I heard him once in Ottawa playing with Kenny Garrett. He was playing a borrowed bass and could definitely play.

. Elena Pinderhughes is so musical -- I saw her with Stefon Harris at Newport last month and she was slaying. As of this writing, she is an undergraduate student!!

Just giving another shout out to Kris. Listened to him with Joey Alexander and Johnathan Blake at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. Killer playing from all. What a great concert!
