I corresponded with the people from Moses inquiring about the neck. They responded with "Yes we made a COUPLE in the 90's". So for you to say you've seen quite a few in the wild is a stretch. They added they will no longer produce one. However as a Ex-Factor enthusiast I'm happy to see that it's indeed true, enjoy every detail of the instruments history and always want correct information posted online. Thanks for posting!

I recently inherited my dad's FCS Kubicki number 2024 made in 1 - 90. It's blue burst in color, and in very nice shape. It's got the 18v preamp. I'm nowhere near the bass player my dad was, but hopefully I can learn on his bass.
I have a question, the neck seems ever so slightly out of level. It looks like the tip/head is being pulled upwards by the string tension. I've never worked on a guitar before, but I know that the tensioner rod is there to correct such an issue. Is turning the screw something a novice can do, or should I take it to a guitar tech? Last thing I wanna do is mess it up, but if it's a piece of cake then I'll attempt it. What way should I turn it to correct an upward bend?

Unless you know what you are doing, take it to a pro for a setup. If he'll let you, watch him do it, you'll learn a lot. If you have any interest in learning to do your own setups, watch a few of the 1000 YouTube videos on the subject. This four part series is pretty good:
So easy on an ExFactor. You need to tighten the truss rod. Absolutely no harm in performing this.
Regular screwdriver (pick one that isn't too wide as to not mare the sides of the hole. Give it a half a turn or so. Re tune the bass. Then re evaluate it.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I guess I shoulda looked in the manual first, but the user manual states "Under normal tension, the neck should have a slight concave curvature." Thats what this one has going on, so I'm just gonna leave it as-is unless it shows signs of getting worse.

Hi, here’s my Kubicki!!l It used to be blue but in ‘98, I had a problem with the E string tuner, I called Phil to fix it, he told me to send the bass to the SB shop but I decided to go with the bass, so I was very lucky to met Phil, great guy, he asked me how long I’ll stay in LA and on the third day (same day I had to return to Mexico), the bass was ready, he replaced the broken tuner and gave the service needed to the neck, frets, etc.
On the day I got to the shop, I saw this AAA wood body....... I had to change it!! So here it is, a combination of a FCS and SB Kubicki Shop.

I have a lovely '86 Ex-Factor that I will be gigging. So I would like to put some straplocks on it.
Upper horn, no problem. But... as I only just now realized, the bridge side uses a machine screw to attach to the bridge section.
The machine screw is a little larger than the opening on the Schaller. And even if it was a perfect fit, the head of the screw is too large. Same with a Dunlop.
I can't be the first person to want to put straplocks on this bass. Any suggestions?

I would grind or file the machine screw (or one like it bought at a hw store to keep the original one intact for providence sake) until it fit your button. It appears it should work.
Yeah, I think I will need to find a new screw that matches. Not gonna take a chance on the original! 
Good news everyone! I was able to modify a replacement screw and do some filing of the inside of the Schaller straplock to make everything work.

I hope this will be useful to anyone else who has thought about adding straplocks to their Kubicki. There is no modification to the bass itself or the original hardware. You can totally swap it back to stock with no issues!

Nice! So, it's a 8/32 pitch, eh? Good to know. I'm sure this will benefit the community as a whole.
Yes, I found that the pitch is the same as machine screws on the Aria SB-1000. For all you JT fans who have both (you know who you are!).
