(strung BEAD - low A) I've owned a few Factors back in the 90's, but frankly couldn't afford to buy a Kubicki Factor at the prices they are selling for now. As much as I enjoyed my Factors - I'm happy with these two Kubicki relatives.

Hey, Kubicki fans, just figured I'd post a couple shots of my beloved ExFactor. I'm a strong believer in not changing a guitar's original finish, but when a friend gave me this one, it had already been refinished in a way I wasn't fond of. So I saw my chance to execute a design I'd wanted for years. I've always loved the Union Jack on a guitar. This one is an 86; I got it 6 or 7 so years ago and had Phil make a couple of repairs, then I had the body refinished. Plays and sounds great, and in my opinion, now looks great, too.

This followed me home the other day, though I’ll probably unload it. It’s 99% new. One tiny ding on the front.

I had a FCS Kubicki in that Sonic Blue colour - not a blue person generally but I liked that shade. Mine was a bit more 'road-worn' but still played/sounded great.
