Kudos to Dunlop Customer Support

The Dunlop Super Bright 40-100 has been my go-to nickel strings over the past 15 years. I strung one of my basses with the SB last week and noticed that the A string sounded very dull. I emailed the Dunlop customer support. A box from Dunlop just arrived at my home. Inside there were “two new 40-100 sets”. When I contacted them, I hoped they would send me a replacement single A string. Dunlop’s customer care totally exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Dunlop.

Had an almost identical experience a few years ago. The rep even called me instead of emailing about my issue. Super nice guy, sent 2 packs of strings out pronto.

Was it Darryl Anders? He did the same for me when I had a faulty string. Just asked for a replacement string, he sent me two whole packs in the same gauges. Super good dude.

I like Dunlop strings a lot, all the flavors. Fret Nation is having a sale, so I just bought a bunch.

Great to hear! I love the stiffness of the Standard series strings, but found even the stainless steel too warm-sounding for my Gibson Thunderbird. Just this past week I've been getting my old '90s Carvin with single coils back into rotation and needed to warm/thicken it up. The Dunlop Standard nickels are perfect for it. Really transformed the sound and feel.
