I know any number of highly-functioning alcoholics and addicts. There's a "sweet spot" of inebriation / influence which resides between shaking and obtunded.

Long term increase in opiate tolerance... doses that would stop the heart of a new user are taken in stride for long term pain management.that much heroin in their system could not have managed the shotgun in that scenario.
I'm pretty aware of this. I've lost an uncle and 2 friends to heroin. That doesn't change my belief in the autopsy report.Long term increase in opiate tolerance... doses that would stop the heart of a new user are taken in stride for long term pain management.
My thought exactly. This is a grift profiting from a tragedy. Occam's Razor - he offed himself. After all these years, this new revelation comes from a guy who just happens to have a novel coming out roughly based on the Cobain story. Very convenient.
It's hilarious how a couble of people have mentioned "oh the guy that wrote sad depressing songs about suicide etc... drug addict, etc, killed himself, wow big surprise." It seems they think that they've got it all figured out but if you were gonna kill a guy that was like that, wouldn't making it look like a suicide BE the best way to kill them? I know you guys thought that was a big gotcha and you clearly solved the case but you obviously aren't thinking anything through with that low effort conjecture, just sayin. Not saying he was murdered or it was a suicide, just had to get that out of the way since it was so obvious and not a single person had mentioned it yet.
Sorry for your loss. It certainly sucks.I haven't watched the video nor do I think I will. Still feeling the loss of my best friend in October to apparent suicide yet there are MANY unanswered questions involving a highly questionable significant other who has since stolen one of his vehicles and moved to another

No one mentioned it because it is self-evident. It's not some great insight only you have. It's also the least likely explanation given the evidence. It's hilarious how a couble of people have mentioned "oh the guy that wrote sad depressing songs about suicide etc... drug addict, etc, killed himself, wow big surprise." I know many as well. And with heroin, alcohol and the like tolerance can be extremely high. Fatal for the average person, normal for the addict.I know any number of highly-functioning alcoholics and addicts. Never said it was some magical insight I had yet no one had mentioned the obvious so I did since the people giving that explanation were so confident in their assertions or at least appeared to be. Plus, no it isn't the least likely explanation given the evidence in my opinion. I mean some of the "evidence" was very out of place considering the inebriation he was experiencing with how things were laid out so perfectly and in place right in front of him. Pictures, the letter, etc.... sure, pointing the shotgun at your face and pulling the trigger might have been possible, but there was definitely some things that were a bit odd. Again, I don't know which is true, I was just pointing out that NOBODY does yet people were explaining it away with his current and chronic conditions at the time such as addiction, etc....No one mentioned it because it is self-evident. Yet "None of those closest to him think it was anything else.". Do you know everyone that was closest to him AND do you REALLY know that "they" all thought it was a suicide? You sounded pretty confident to me, again... just sayin'. No one knows anything and people that act like they do irk me a bit so I mentioned it, no hate or anything, you just sounded like you had it all figured out in your previous post.Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. No one is trying for a "big gotcha" here. All logic and reason points to suicide. Could he have been murdered? Sure. But as of now it's nothing more than a conspiracy theory.
