To you folks with nylon tapes, do these have a sticky feel to them, like many players complain about with flats? I have a heck of a time when it gets humid out. The flats become almost unplayable to me.
No they do not ever feel sticky, they are super clean and super easy to play and the coppers sound fantastic. Good for your fingers and easy on your tendons, can set action very low with little or no buzzing at all. You can even slap on them and they sound decent - the coppers that is. Slides are easy, bends are easy, very little of the unwanted noises that most bass strings have. I quit flats because of the sticky factor that was messing me up big time. The tapes rule!
