I have had LaBella Deep talkin' Flats strung through body on my P-Bass for quite a while and have had no problems. If you are going to top load you might want to run the E-string through the body especially if the bridge is a 3 bolt so you don't rip the bridge out of the body. But If you feel adventurous just run them all through the body.
