  1. Behold, sister bass players! We celebrate our victory over the Orcs of Flam with the founding of The Order of Ladies of the Low.

We can do numbers and you can have one if you'd like. How about titles? If you'd like a title say how you wish to be known in the order, e.g. Lady Beatrice of the Bo Diddly Beat, or Lady Adele of the Augmented Fifth.

    La Contessa Mór-ríoghain.

We actually have one of these here:
    Girl Bass Player, part 2

Due to low female membership though, clearly in part because some guys can't not be inappropriate when they see women on a forum, it's not particularly active.

    Tá fáilte romhat!

(Disclaimer - I had to look that up ... I studied Irish Gaelic for a few months a while back, but have forgotten nearly everything, sadly!)

What make you think it's "geezers" that are the inappropriate ones?

So women get names and titles . . . . men get numbers. Kinda like Charlie Browns, all of us guys get a rock.

I feel a great disturbance in the (Testosterone) Force, as if millions of male bass voices suddenly cried out in terror and were unplugged. :bawl:

Going by your analogy, guys are the ones who are giving each other rocks, then, since guys have founded and are running very nearly all the other clubs. If you would rather have titles, you're completely free to do that instead of numbers. Women are not stopping you from doing so, I promise!
