We can do numbers and you can have one if you'd like. How about titles? If you'd like a title say how you wish to be known in the order, e.g. Lady Beatrice of the Bo Diddly Beat, or Lady Adele of the Augmented Fifth.

Going by your analogy, guys are the ones who are giving each other rocks, then, since guys have founded and are running very nearly all the other clubs. If you would rather have titles, you're completely free to do that instead of numbers. Women are not stopping you from doing so, I promise!
