Lakland 44-64 vs Fender P vs DJ4??

I'm struggling... Narrowing next bass down to these 3. Love the looks of the Lakland 44-64's vs the Fender P, but ultimately am more interested in quality tone. Like American Elite P basses but they are pricey. Also have been eyeballing a used Lakland DJ4 w/ John East Retro 01 preamp. Unfortunately unable the get hands on. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Fender American Professional Precision Bass .. excellent finish, super clear P bass tone (60s reminiscent) ...

Are you talking about Skyline Laklands, or the U.S. version? I hugged a (Korean/Fralins) Skyline Duck Dunn for a decade after using a USA Fender Precision Bass for a decade. I'd say the quality was comparable, But I came home to Fender a few years ago.
