Lakland 44-94

You guys are opening up old wounds...
I had a choice between that new Pedulla Rapture RB4 I had and my old bosses 44-94 (looked just like JMarks above)
They were the same price and I told him I had to sleep on it. I was going to get the 44-94 but he sold before waiting to hear what I decided. Jerk.
Both were great basses, especially for a dumb high school kid (this was 20+ years ago now...)

i'm not knocking you by any means, I love your 'gear trying out videos'. But asking you as a fan and virtual friend to maybe just give us gear reviews from your gear you own in your own music room and stay out of GC for a little while. It may just be reactionary fear overall in the US, but better safe than sorry!

keep slappin! :)

These masks don't work at all.
Please read the WHO recommendations.
In order for them to work a very specific protocol must be followed using a smelling compound to test its seal.

My 2 cents.
Thank you for bringing this up. A medical mask can limit the spread if worn by an infected person. They really don't do anything to prevent a healthy person from contracting the virus.

+1 on videos from home!

Yeah, I don't really get why people are walking around wearing these masks thinking that it's going to protect them from anything. People have proven many times that they don't work to prevent getting sick.

These masks don't work at all. They are a false sense of security in a crisis amd panicked population.

If I sneeze or cough, it will at least hold back some particles that could infect another person.

Arrived yesterday from Japan. It is an awesome bass. This is Lakland 44-94 Shoreline series with bartolini, produced by ESP for Japan only.
Quality is top notch.
Sound is amazing.

Sorry, I don't wanna be a dweeb, but this is false. Mask wearing reduces both transmission by those shedding virus, and infection by those wearing one. Neither is completely effective, but both have a significant impact. Saying they don't do "anything" to prevent inhalation of virus is misleading. All that said, I fully agree that avoidance of unnecessary risk is safest.

I missed this post last year. All I can say is thank you for your concern!:) I always took covid seriously, and although I am vaccinated and had a booster this month, I am still masked in public places.

I totally agree, that quoted statement was based on info available at the time. Maybe I can delete it...
I'm sick of masks, but I wear one everywhere I go and I got my shots. Safety first, for you and those around you. I'm ready for this to be over already...

The sooner all of us accept that we need to do things we don’t like doing, the sooner we will get back to some sort of normal. That’s it for my soapbox.
