Asking a favor of current Lakland 4 string owners - what is the spacing of your bridge - 19 mm (0.75”) or 20 mm (0.78”)?
I have always liked Laklands but remembered the bridge being 20mm and not easy to change so I have passed. I recently went back to their website and they now list 19 mm (0.75”) when the website used to list 20 mm (0.78”). I corresponded with the company years ago asking if they could make a 19 mm bridge and was told no. When I communicated with them recently I was informed their bridge has always been 19 mm spacing. I still have both sets of emails stating both bridge spacing and now feel confused. This could just be a miscommunication or misunderstanding between myself and Lakland.
So, I would like to get some confirmation from current Lakland owners that the bridge spacing is actually 19 mm prior to purchasing a new US bass (and being nowhere near a Lakland dealer). Thanks.
