when i got it it had a lot of scratches on the back, the action was a mile high and it had a mint pickgaurd.

so i bought some maguire's scratch-x(miracle potion) it took nearly all the scratches out and made it really shiny. then i shimmed the neck, polished the frets, set it up to "carl" specs, and put a black pickgaurd on it.

now the bass is awesome, it plays great, has nice low action, sounds sweet and looks even sweeter. its gonna be a keeper.

it may be a helpful hint. I took that from our drummer who used this to shine up the brass, and a great trick to polish the scratches on one's bass too. He took an old thick felt "hammer" (I don't know what it is called) from a kick drum pedal, the whole thing - the felt ball together with a metal pin that holds it, - and put it onto an electric drill.

Wow Greg, you're good.
I'm calling it a "Poor-mans US"
I am in love with Markus JO.
I can't afford a US. So I am going to have the Glaub I am getting from Terry repainted.
I am probably crazy. I will never get the money back if I should resell, but I want a Glaub, and love that color.

At the end of the month I am having a "Retirement Sale".
I am taking a long break from gigging.
The music scene here in Milwaukee SUCKS!!!!
I am tired of looking for a band. I don't have the time or energy to start a band. I am holding out for my dream gig(a band playing Motown/Stax / R&B/Soul music). Until then I am going to sell my remaining 2 Skylines, my new head and speaker cab and get a small combo, get the Glaub done as I want, pay some bills and do my own thing.

yeah, same thing in the musical scene around here
sell your skylines - you mean, the jo5 too? what kind have you got, please remind

+1

That Glaub is great. I am loving mine. It "fits" me so much better than anything else I have owned. I can't wait to get my hands on a US BG5. Here are a few shots with my Glaub.

I have a 55-02 Deluxe/Maple, and an Indo-PLEK JO5.
I don't know if I can part with the JO5. Nicest of all 14 Skylines I've owned.
I will also sell my month old GK MB2-500, and my Avatar 12 Neo 8ohm.

you mean lost in Rapture? that's impossible - the solution is almost linear!
just kidding
Bioshock is

Oh yeah, and Rapture is no Pedulla - it is the city built below the ocean in the 50-ies, where the whole thing takes place. Nice underwater scenery, total leaking and rusting, and helluva overall craziness

nice family you've got!
I want a JO5 either in burst/tort/rosewood (like you've got but w/a different guard) or nat ash/black/maple. I want it passive w/fralins, preferred with stacked knobs. Each one and every JO5 for sale seems to lack at least one detail
