Happyface's Proto is mine! Can't wait to get her setup as a fretless! My Pedulla Pentabuzz is (so far IME) "THE" fretless sound I always wanted. But, I can't be switching scale lengths, string spacing, output volume, etc during a show. The Proto even has the same pups as my S.C.

4-94 would be my choice between the two. you're not exactly posting this for any biased individuals, though, hehe.

i do have a Stingray HS and while the humbuckers on both might be close, the EQ and neck pups are all completely different. you should probably a/b them to see what you like.

Just picked up a Skyline DJ4 LPB rosewood from my local Sam Ash! Pics when I get home. The sales guy kept pronouncing it "lack-land"...I don't think he knew what he sold me. I got a great deal too....but no case.
