looking at that pj(and im sorry to anyone who likes the looks) it looks mismatched to me,

pearl blocks on a maple neck, with sunburst and tort??i would have gone rosewood if i was gonna do pearl blocks, and ebony blocks with the maple neck and a black pickgaurd.

just IMO

My bass is going to be maple with pearl blocks, but I think the lighter color of the sonic blue will go nicely. I picked the specs on mine after seeing Family Man's SFG with maple and pearl. I just don't like SFG and I dig sonic blue.

And, what's the story behind the piece of headstock from a 5er. It's laying in the bottom right of pic.

That's my pen holder that I had to set down to take the pic.... Not sure what the story is (maybe off of a bad neck?), but Leo had a DJ5 headstock like that on his desk holding his pens, and I made a joke about it and he pulled out another one for me to take.....

Yeah, Evan, yours will be one of the hottest basses around! I'd also like to say that the PJ looks a LOT better in person....

Really just depends (timing, specific places, etc.), but I'll definitely keep an eye on this.

It was between a Fender and the Lull.

The 35" scale, the price and the PJ option put me over the top...
