Still lovin Kobol!!

SC has an input jack issue :hmm:... noticed my cab sounding funny at the last gig, like it had a blown speaker or a plastic bag stuck in a port (yes I've heard that sound comin out of a friends rig).

Anyway, wiggled/twisted my cable a little (made lotta noise) and it cleared right up. My other 2 basses at the show didn't have this problem, so it's not my X2 cable. Anybody else had this prob? Did the jack need replacement?

OK, here is aquestion (I feel like Terry now..and I mean that in the best possible way). My new Mesa Scout 12" Extension Cab get's here today (Thanks Terry). There is veryy little action on my JO5. Should I try to move the matching mesa stack and get the hollowbody...or just sit and be patient. Patience and GAS are an unlikely duo.

If the Mesa stack can be replaced easily, and I didn't lose much money, I'd do it.

So I assume you sold your Eden stuff? Even though you may not want my advice (as this is a LOG thread), I would hang onto your rig as you seem to like it, and be as patient as humanly possible with selling the JO5. How long has it been in the classifieds? Have you put it on eBay, craigslist etc?

While I would normally agree with you...I am not in a rush to sell the JO5, I am in a hurry to buy the bass that is available now. I do not think it will be available very long.

Are you sure you really want that hollowbody that badly? To me the tone of those basses is so different from anything else, kind of like a decade, that it wouldn't be worth that kind of effort, much less the hit you could take on monetarily on moving equipment that fast. I've done it a few times when I was very sure that the instrument I needed was just right for me, and even then it felt like a bad decision after the fact. I'm looking to take a big hit on this 55-02 fretless I'm trying to sell just because it's not for me, but I though so assuredly that it was when I bought it.

Just thinking out loud here. LoL!
