Not to add to the gas...strictly informational... but that bass is really special. Such an incredible design, and the tone is unreal. Never heard a hollowbody so thick and rich. The neck is my favorite too. This bass ruined me.

I've quickly come to the realization that I'm just gonna have to save up for a US Deluxe version. I love that flamed maple. Also, it appears that may be the only way to get the trans-orange "markus" finish on it

It'd be pretty fitting for me too since I'm a Clemson grad... GO TIGERS!

So did anyone else see the Decade review in the August issue of Bass Guitar Magazine? It's one of those killer UK magazines that's a little bigger and a lot better than the US ones (kinda like Sound On Sound & Future Music). Anyway, there's just something awesome about seeing beautiful glossy pics in print that warms me up more than seeing them on the 'net.... Anyway, pretty good review.

Oh, forgot to mention the 44-02 helped me entertain my own little cult-following at the show this weekend. Quite empowering to have your own cheering section in the crowd
