Pretty definitive for a guy who is like "not so sure..." about a Lakland.....DO IT!

BTW - anyone seen Panda lately? are we sure it is not Luke in disguise??????

Haha this only backs up what Greg and Markus were saying...Keep reading Doude, you'll find out soon.

Also, I need to play one before I buy, my new bass is a significant purchase, and I want to make sure it's the right one. Besides, it's hard to buy with no money, but that will change soon enough.

Also also, you meant to say "are we sure Luke is not Panda in disguise" or something like that.

WELCOME!!!! I JUST POSTED ASKING WHERE YOU WERE....

Yeh - lost new...check the last 40+ pages....lots of new basses and amps...etc.

I am going to pick up the FIRST US BG5 PJ tomorrow (not gloating or anything...REALLY!)

how you been? any closer to getting a Lakie????

You Dog!!! I mean Doug!!

Spec reminder pls?

And that JO5 w/CS'''''' argh, Doude!

Multi-quoting the entire thread would be brutal!

maybe some people need to realize that not all posts require an individual response... :hiding:

following these threads exhausts me. I feel like I just ran a marathon.

Doug, you have me very jealous of your JO5-Sonic and your BG5. Each are 100% killer. I remember playing and loving the j-sonic. If I ever decide I need a fiver, I'm definitely going with a J-Sonic w/blocks. Your bass as the inspiration.

Anyone have any insight as to how to wire up some Chi's to a DJ passive plate? I have 1 red, 1 black and 1 b/w striped lead from each pickup (the rear pickup has a green wire instead of red.

Which one goes on the little loop part? It looks like the other 2 get soldered directly to the pot, as there are old solder marks there. Does it matter where? I think the black bridge wire goes straight to the jack, yes or no?

The cables connecting the pots to each other are already there.

Can anyone tell I don't do this for a living?

Are we still talking about cases? :D
