Thanks bro. So far it's great. Those Lakland necks are just pure magic, I know it's been said a hundred times, but it's true. I've got a jazz neck on my BG too and i've never felt anything nicer in my hands...... bass related, of course

I'm just thrilled and relieved that everything worked out. That was scary, man.

They delivered a router to me at:
The wrong house number
On the wrong street
In the wrong city....

They did get County, State, and Country, hemisphere and planet correct - do I give them partial credit?

I just took the opposite approach. I tried going there first, but couldn't find the damn place! My GPS was chirping "on left", but the address, nor the company name matched.
So I came home frustrated, angry, and dejected and found their phone #. Called and got a freakin' answering machine. I'll give it a few minutes before I call back.

This is my first bad experience with brown or anyone for that matter. Now, unfortunately, I have a story to tell.
As long as it ends happily, I will survive.

great basses. My '97 body looks prety much alike (except for the layout). I like your JO even better - and hate you 4-stringers, you get so many cool basses I can't get

Closer? IDK hiding, but I'm trying to save up for a 44-01 to put some Big Singles into . Can't think of a good preamp though, might go passive.

maybe the LOG members will help you save up. We're now - what? somewhere at the beginning of the 4th hundred, so if everyone throws in a dime...

Thanks so much for sending out the black helicopters. Man, those guys are good.
I had to leave and didn't get home until 9:30pm. With little hope, I opened the front door to see if my JO was out on the front porch.... It was there!!!!!!!!!
I am sooooo relieved. Honestly, I have no idea what in the hell happened. I had to leave for another hour or so and just now took her out of the case. Boooooyah!!!!!!!!
She's a beaut!!!
My day went from terrible to wonderful in a matter of moments!
I will take some pics tomorrow, but for now, I'm going to do some low volume jammin'.

What makes up your family at the moment?
Natural fretless and Sunburst fretted? Are they both CS? I know I could dig up a photo from somewhere, but this is easier.
Then there is the natural pg-less on its way and the Bluebird. Those are humbuckers in there aren't they?

All in all, very nice.

Here's a quick pic. It's got an old tort guard on it right now. By next week I should have the original black and a new tort from Jeanies as well.

I love tort, but I really like black on natural basses. This one belonged to AndyMan and Ilcapo, who was great through this whole ordeal. He even got a hold of the guy who signed for it(which he claimed he never did), and gave him the "third degree". Traded a really great Sadowsky Metro that i've had for 5 years for this baby.

Very nice! Glad that the issue got resolved quickly.
