Thanks so much for sending out the black helicopters. Man, those guys are good.
I had to leave and didn't get home until 9:30pm. With little hope, I opened the front door to see if my JO was out on the front porch....:hyper::hyper::hyper: It was there!!!!!!!!!
I am sooooo relieved. Honestly, I have no idea what in the hell happened. I had to leave for another hour or so and just now took her out of the case. Boooooyah!!!!!!!!
She's a beaut!!!
My day went from terrible to wonderful in a matter of moments!
I will take some pics tomorrow, but for now, I'm going to do some low volume jammin'.

They're just doing their job Sir:D

Glad it all turn out! GAS>HELL>BLISS

Nice dude! Had one just like it! Love the tort the best!

:D Nah, keep 'em up for a couple days. Me still not be so happy with Brown:spit:
Here's a quick pic. It's got an old tort guard on it right now. By next week I should have the original black and a new tort from Jeanies as well.

I love tort, but I really like black on natural basses. This one belonged to AndyMan and Ilcapo, who was great through this whole ordeal. He even got a hold of the guy who signed for it(which he claimed he never did:confused:), and gave him the "third degree". Traded a really great Sadowsky Metro that i've had for 5 years for this baby.

wow!!! this picture does this bass absoloutely no justice, it has the sickest, fastest neck ive ever felt on a lakland.
detailed pictures this weekend and a review

Excellent, Matty! It looks great, and I know Jauqo gets his necks customized a bit. Enjoy!

:confused:huh:confused:

it is very comfortable, just a little thinner front to back.

i think it is the same depth all the way down the neck front to back if thats what you mean.

Ah...I though I remembered something about the neck being asymmetrical... My Tobias was that way. Thicker at the top E string, and thinner at the G. So the neck is like my 4-07 then. That's cool...I LOVE that neck! It's a tie for me between that neck and the HB's neck.

I'm sure it will be worth the (long) wait.
What makes up your family at the moment?
Natural fretless and Sunburst fretted? Are they both CS? I know I could dig up a photo from somewhere, but this is easier.
Then there is the natural pg-less on its way and the Bluebird. Those are humbuckers in there aren't they?

All in all, very nice.

Long wait it is. 15 Months I think (ordered July 08). It's all good. I have a killer 3-tone to hold me over until it gets here. It will have CS humbuckers and a j-retro with coil tap. The natty fretted will be here on Wednesday.
I also SHOULD have a CallowHill P4-22 sometime soon. My family will be two fretted DJs (active and passive), my fretless DJ, and a CallowHill p-bass. I wish I could keep the 3tone, but oh well.
