Dumb question, but how's the sound of mahogany/Dark-stars? Great-looking. Looks like some of the old Gibson thunderbirds.

If you're curious how it sounds, you can go onto my churches website and watch the webcast that was filmed this morning. I thought it sounded pretty dad gum good. If you would like to watch the webcast then please visit Invalid Link Removed. Click on "Latest Sermon," then click watch. You will be able to see our set.

thank you!

I MEANT to say, ENGLISH MAJORS...typing too fast again....

welcome back to rainy Chicago.....we have ALOT to talk about...met Paul yesterday - who you bought the Rev through...he had a SWEET Rick Turner fretless that I fell in love with...sold today though...man - he moves fast! faster than Terry!
Hehe, I figured.;)

Thanks. Yeah, Paul has good taste, but he does move quickly. He tries not to own more than a couple basses at a time. Very different from some of us!

Great sound and a great set. I like the stage set-up too!

Very nice. I love that Decade! Unfortunately, the camera guys were more interested in the blonde than your new bass.:) Could we get more photos of it?

Absolutely! I actually need to take one big picture of all three of my Laklands, so I will try to get that up tomorrow or the next day! Thanks so much for checking out our set! We had a lot of fun!

Newest addition to my good ol' Lakland collection!

Yeah, that Decade sounds great in the mix brother! From one church musician to another - great band! (Now if we could just get your camera crew to give us more shots of the Lakland we'd pay more attention to the sermon! )

I can't tell ya....I don't wan to hear how how crazy I am..I already know :D

The Daphne Blue is beautiful in person.

I was going to send out a poll...but the wife just said go for the Gold!:ninja:

Ferg, I've never seen daphne blue in person (though I like it in pics), but I believe ice blue's different--a darker blue, and yet shinier.

Which bass are you thinking about refinishing, so can I give you grief?:D

Wow, now I always thought church things would be kind of lame, but after watching that video it was like an actualy concert hahah. Changed my perspective (don't attend church), it was pretty cool. Singer was cute too.
