I like a nice organic, free-range bass. I've got the organic thing down pat, but there are too many other instruments in my bands for me to get a very free range...

Or in Montréal, you could go for the poutine. It's good any time of day, but is best served at about 3 am, after a hard night of gigging.

That's a pretty good idea. Trans white/maple 55-94 would be really cool. I really liked my 55-02 just not the TTS (just not my flavor) and been digging maple lately. Really like the body shape too.

I'll keep that in mind. Either way, will have to be used.

you SHOULD be able to find a decent 55-94 used these days at a good price...trust me...I KNOW...basses are NOT selling for what they are worth right now!

Works for me Ive gotten all mine (except the swaps) at bargain prices, IMO anyways

No - not REALLY.....kind of more like cheese chunks...only in small smoother nodules (is that a word?)

I am surprised they have them in Canada...they are HUGE in Wisconisn....

After staring at Doug's pics for the better part of the last 20 minutes, I'm pretty sure that I *need* a Lakie PJ5 in either trans white or the Markus trans orange.

This is probably already posted somewhere and I missed it, but is that a P neck or J neck on there?

It's the standard Lakland fiver neck. In other words- perfection. I thought about adding a J to mine, but it already sounds amazing, and I rarely use the bridge pickup on my JO5.
And yes, Orange is the way to go.....
