That is a tough one. When I get my neck back, I will have to spend some time with it. I think EVERYONE should have a nice passive P in the arsenal. The question is, will having that P (which is going to be a skyline version of Ivy) going to trump some of the other gas that I have...like say, maybe Shadowfax......hmmmmmmm

Did every-LOGer get the email about 'em, the one that said the maple fretboard will have ebony blocks?
Is this right?. Cause if that's correct, then it sways me BIG TIME toward snagging one!! I figured they'd have black plastic blocks or something....
EDIT: I should say that I trust John's email info, I'm just in shock kinda because ebony blocked maple is awesome IMO, far classier than black plastic. And what a bargain!!!

JJ, you're reading more into the email technically than was intended. (I wrote the text with input from Doug and John.) I don't know what the blocks on Skylines are made of, we've been using black and ebony interchangeably throughout this process. Sorry for the confusion! Maybe someone who has one of those Skyline DJs can weigh in...
I didn't. I desided to go sans. I did send Roger a ChiSonic pickup surround, so he should be able to make them. Shoot him and email!
The only blocked Skyline necks have been rosewood except for the AC limited run correct?
I always thought those blocks were painted.

BTBAM - Bass Solo - Easily Heard:
(This bass track is much better with headphones. It seems to really distort my computer subs and make it sound much worse than it really is)
Now of course that's nowhere near BTBAM's main music but it's the same bass same strings.
Oh, I am using a 55-01 with OBP-3 Preamp and stock bart mk1 soaps. I think it's a mahogany fretboard (Looks awesome)

Stainless round wounds. If you're going to seize like that on stage, then you might want to go try a heavier gauge. Try DR's.
What's wrong with that guy's voice? Sounds like he has a really bad cold or laryngitis or something and he seems kinda upset about it.
They are on the lower side tension-wise... so ya...probably not the way to go. Too bad...because that sound so damn good!
