OK John, I'll be the odd man out (imagine that) ... I like the darker one... kinda reminds me of the red tort on red Glaub..... and besides, if mama aint happy.....

gotta be careful......if the job is poorly done, redoing it might cost more than the original cost......like i said - find someone you trust and make sure you see/play their work.

a good epoxy job will feel no different than a non-treated neck...

wow john....I am with you.....I was nots ure about the first one either, but it does work.....

I vote that one...but you can always change them up once in a while...

Alright Lakland finatics..

I just got a setup and strings about four weeks ago - but it's time for new strings and to fix the horrible job the last guy did. I'm taking it to a tech I know personally next tuesday

So now, I'm buying strings online.


If I am to go through the body on my 55-01, will I need Long Scale or Extra Long Scale? I'm going with a pair of D'Addarios. (I play C# Standard)

Taking it to Tony down at Cape Fear Music when my brother goes to drum lessons next tuesday. This is it - he's gonna fix the craptacular job Edward's Music did and I'm going to learn to adjust the neck and truss rod -- then it's all strings for me!



ALSO!

Any bridges I can buy that will fit in 55-01s that don't look ridiculous? I'd like to play just shy of the bridge pickup. The neck is too far out when I'm using that low B (all too common)
