As much as you guys post I dunno if I'll keep up, but here's my latest:

I don't love it either, though I like everything else about that axe. I'd take that cutie and get her refinished in an amber or a caramel burst.. or maybe cherryburst. Then I'd find a PG that matches those blocks.
The downside? No idea what sort of grain's under that paint.
I don't think warm colors would go well with those abalone blocks.
Maybe you're right about the hues. I just looked at the pics again and noticed the green-ness of 'em. Maybe a trans green?

Another example of why I don't typically prefer blocks.
