CHI-love has re-blossomed! I think Carl "tweaked" the preamp a little....not sure but it sounds slightly different (better) than I remembered...

Hahah... I was thinking the same thing... You seem to be hanging in there pretty well, Alan. I more than tripled my typical output at 22 (wow, didn't even seem like I posted that much) and you have me beat by a wide margin

not sure yet..."Blue Demon" seemed to come to mind but since I play it in church, I MAY need to give it a different name...Matt - BOTH of ours are sea worthy and those CHIs will definately cause tidal waves!!!

You're killin' me with the pics. I haven't had any bass-related GAS in a while, but there are a few in your herd that I wouldn't mind borrowing (if I even thought about owning, my wife might sense it and I may have find new accomodations). I figure I have at least a few months Remaining to come up with something to explain the arrival of the LOG bass.

Oh yeah, and sounds like you made some good decisions on the greenie. A p-style pickguard should look cool... Though i'd have to see it with mint... Think I'd still choose tort.

Tried a BUNCH of colors today when I visited Carl.....the tort looks GREAT on the bass itself but clashes with the abalone blocks...so does the pearloid.....

we even saw an abalone color in a catalog but it was too black...

I want to find a "mint" that has slightly more green and less "yellow" than the Lakland color....if anyone ca steer me towards some pickguard material that is like that...please let me know....

3 pages too late, but honestly i'm glad i didn't make the frequent posters list again. Helps keep me GAS free.

that said, i just threw a D-Tuner on my JO, so next up is new strings a setup, then... I'm painting my Decade!! Whoo hoo!!
