never actually saw teh bass in person but would like to someday...I hear there are 3 around....Harry Shearer has one, Mario Batali (yes the Chef) bought one at an auction....not sure where number 3 is!

Just make sure we meet in Austria if you're coming. BTW, what part of Germany is your family from? Germany is an hour or two ride from almost any part of Austria (I know: sounds odd, our countries being that big. But that's the way it is in Europe).

the XXth was very noisy and messy, so many a men have changed their ways. But, the time to throw stones passes sooner or later. Hopefully we have piece and quiet in the next decades

using the F analogy, it reminds not of the AmDLX P5 but rather the... errr... that model... You know, the one that looks like a Caterpillar, with 2 switchable humbuckers and a specific pickguard. Weird but I can't remember whose model that is. Also, it is not in the current catalogue, interesting...

I just put GHS nickel plated flats on Nessie. First impression, they are... sticky. It has got some extra highs when unplugged, that's good. Too bad the large combo is not at home, I only have a 30 Wt one here.
