I'm FINALLY getting a new band together!

since Nessie is laid away for a while, I'm paying more attention to my "main" bass, the 55-94 3tb/bem. I installed all the new hardware and everything (that came with Nessie), polished the body - looks several years younger now! - and am cleaning the beautiful BEM fretboard. I was dumb enough not to make a "before" shot, but, hopefully, the "after" pic comes soon enough...
Got 2 packs of new strings from the US too!

Sigh....I've never been much of a collector and have never owned a P or J bass but you guys and those bass porn pics of those GORGEOUS Laklands are turning my GAS way up!!!!

Thanks very much, Jim! I know you have a couple of very nice Lakies yourself. The Dark Star P is my favorite, that one is in the "pry it from my cold, dead hands" category.

However, it looks like the sunburst JO just now sold!
