Ended up getting the HB back tonight.
The tech fixed the ground problem with the neck darkstar.
Pheeeew!!

After looking around a bit it certainly looks like the US tuners were put on it. It could have been done when it went to the factory for the Darkstar mod.
I did end up looking under the guard and it looks really good. The P route is really not that enlarged.
Question for darkstar owners. What does the mini switch do? This bass still has that wired up under the guard. I am not sure if it's there but not doing anything or if it would do something if I switched it. It's under the guard so it wont get bumped or anything I am just wondering if I should do anything with it.

I owned a few different styles in my time. Mainly Gibsons. I had a Thunderbird, a Grabber and a Ripper. Of those I miss the Thunderbird the most.
I have plans to one day get a Skyline Scheff but for now I wanted an older Korean Skyline Glaub with the Fralin. My US Glaub has a Lollar in there. Someone replaced the Lakland pickup (which I was pleased with because I have never been a fan of the NeoPunch. Haven't tried the vintage version yet)
