60s pastel on the P for sure. Put my vote in for seafoam or sonic blue w/ tort. I agree on the white Hollowbody...

The P will get a matching headstock of whatever color i settle on in a few days. Maybe..sonic blue? Daphne blue? Or something else? The HB might end up being white.

So what outboard preamps are LOGgers using for their passive Laklands?
My 4-94 is somewhat out of rotation; I'm using the passives (DPLEII & hollowbody) for both bands' gigs and rehearsals. I really miss having multiband EQ onboard for significant tone-shaping at my fingertips, and do need a wide variety of tones for covers from many styles and eras (motown, blues, classic & modern rock.) I'm considering installing onboard preamps (John East U- and/or P-retros), but wary of cost and modification's impact to originality.
Perhaps an outboard preamp squeezed onto my pedalboard might give some happy medium compared to maneuvering my way back to my amp.
Please discuss.

2 good choices
A Fender originally coming with those pastel colors would have come with a mint guard. The tort is a classic option from "parts" around the house.I prefer mint.

I considered getting a new guard cut if need be, but I would prefer not to. Seafoam green is getting more votes right now!Also, I should point out this HB neck: it's very dark rosewood (beautiful) and nice creamy dots.
Getting a good photo of these aspects was difficult with my iPad, but here's what I got. Pearl white sounds like a great choice, but Olympic or something more...creamy...could go with the dots better. OR I'm just thinking too much. Pearl white would own.

I like the Sonic Blue, Vintage white angle.
I found a used JO4 from 2009ish in Sea Foam Green (perfect color)... However, the asking price is $2799!!! Yikes.
