At $2400 retail it's not budget, but it is no frills. I'm strongly considering selling plasma.

If it came in Burgundy Mist, I'd be selling plasma with you.

I just may have to buy one and refinish it. Been thinking about doing that with a used Duck Dunn.

Nope not dead, just busy.

Working, traveling and trying to make outdoor time to enjoy the whopping 3 or so months of summer here in the northeast.
I just have not been doing the TB thing very much.
Nor playing my basses much for that matter

More into the BBQ, Sam Adams and the pool at the moment...hahaha!!

Pretty much the same as the 44-94 and 55-94. The only two differences....only three color choices...and maple fretboard is not Birdseye.

the variety of ash seems to be another difference

But, the news struck me. Seems like the new DLB works as a game changer for Lakland

I Just got my 55-02 Deluxe last night. I have to say I really love this bass. It is exactly the tone I wanted to add to my arsenal. NBD is always a great day!!!

IMO the cherryburst over quilted maple is the nicest "standard" finish offered by any bass in the 5502 price range. Gorgeous.

By the saddles, I'd say it is a Skyline. By the color combo, I think this is one limited edition, when was this? in 2012?

You get 1/2 of a cookie. It's a skyline, but I have never seen another in this color with the b&b neck or the concentric knobs from the factory. As far as I know it was the only one like it that has been through Bass Central from what Beaver has told me.
