Haha! Another Mike Quick fan! He makes all my PGs. Awesome stuff.

Those are cool! I don't think I have a bass that would work visually this one though:-/
Who here plays only 5er's? I've been playing my 55-01 and am really starting to favor the active 5 over the 4. I'm considering selling both of my 44-02's for a single 55-02.

Bought my first 5er a few months ago and play both 4 and 5 equally. I like both for different reasons.
I jumped from 4s to 6ers in '92 (started playing bass in '89), went to a 55-94 in '07 because 6 strings didn't suit the hard rock originals band I was in. Now that I'm in a covers-only band, I'm gigging 4s and tuning down to D occasionally. I favor ease and simplicity now, so I'll grab a 4 as much as possible. I can get into performing more if I don't have extra strings to keep muted. I say keep a 4 in your stable.
What is that Delano PJ bass you have?
There is no way that I'm getting rid of my 44-60 and 44-64. Those models are the basis of the bass.. I will always have a p and j of some kind. I want to have all of my tonal bases cover, which I do, but thinking of selling the 44-02's for a 55-02 or maybe even a 54-94. Not sure what to do yet.
That is a Carlo I had Carl Pedigo custom build for me. Definitely one of my favorites. He really sweated over this one and poured himself into and extremely high quality build that I was very specific about.
