That's the jazz I want! It just needs a bnb neck & a neck pup cover...

I recommend it! I love BEM too with the natural. Bass Central has some nice photos of those. The richness and feel of the East Indian Rosewood is also awesome.

If I could buy another one (well, first I'd get a fretless), I would get another Glaub with the JO neck in translucent blonde with maple FB and tort PG.

Obviously, I took the PU covers of both. They look cool, but make it harder for me to play.
 
Well, I made a point to play DD33 exclusively for the last week and a half or so for a few practices and a gig. Grabbed the Dude last night for my first rehearsal with a band for whom I'm subbing for a few shows over then next 2-3 months, and may join permanently (but I'd likely have to drop the blues band.)
Conclusion: I confirmed that the Dude is much more comfortable for me. I've got to make some time to visit Carl with both basses and see what's next!

Are the both US made? Do you still have any EBMM Sterlings?
