Well I can say Chi "buckers" are amazing in an active bass.
I love me some Chi "buckers" in the 44-07.
My first Lakland, and pretty much what made me kick most of the non US Lakland basses out of my house.

I've lusted for the Sea Monster for awhile, and almost missed seeing it available. Been pretty busy of late and not able to keep up on TB. Thankfully JJ and I worked out a win/win for both of us. It's certainly going to be be a painful wait!

I was offered one of those blonde thumbs with the rising sun inlays, flame maple board. I have played one before, rare and beautiful! Plays like a dream too!
