Good luck.Hi Basspraiser,
Thank you for your comment. I do indeed like the Joe, but I also like the p bodies, and I think I'll go and take a look at the Joe pj 5, even though it's a few hours away from my home.
You encouraged me to do it. Thank you very much.View attachment 7287322

The bass was built that way at the factory, no additions.Interesting... curious if the front pickup is just routed for a p, or is it an aftermarket mod?
Details?

Still needs some tort though…
Hi Guys !
Would like your insights on a pickup swap. I currently have the stocks barts on a 55-94.
Thinking of the Delanos JMVC 5 fe with MC 5 or the B axis J and exclusive MM as replacements.
What would you go with ? Heard a lot of good stuff about the Delanos!
Thanks for sharing !
Thanks for the insight !Cannot speak for the Delano J, but I am running the Quad Coil Delano MC5 FE M2 in my Sterling Ray35. Excellent pickup particularly with a coil tap switch. Could see it being perfect with a 3 way single/parallel/single coil tap in an MM/J setup like the 55-94.
Thanks for the insight !
Did you mean single rear coil / parallel / single front coil ?
I would tend to go single parallel series though!
