Just play that last week in church.
I need to find a Before and after picture of that one because.... It was actually the test meal for the CHI Sonic pickups and was really a mess at one point.
There was no way to play it without a pick guard.
Pat Wilkins came up with the idea of staining the quilted maple before painting it.
He suggested that to me as part of the refin
I originally just wanted to have it stained blue but what I saw the final product I was amazed at how great it looked.
He was definitely ahead of his time as people started doing it soon thereafter.
It definitely adds a depth that is not there normally.
I will try to find some before and after pictures sometime this weekend.
That is a killer bass.
