Vote black or black pearlI put Sadowsky Nickel Rounds on her just couldn’t do flats this thing really sounds great, i tried her next to a US fender p and it smoked it. It’s definitely a true Old School P bass neck, WIDE! I’ll get used to it. My US 4460 jazz sitting next to it. The Bob Glaub is heavier than I would like, my only criticism of it. I think a custom tort guard in place of the Mint? What do y’all think?
I'm getting used to the Mint white and I never thought I would. I may just stay pat for now. I found some old pics of early 60s Candy Apple Red Fender P's with the Mint guard and it is pretty classy. I may put a thunb rest on to give it more of that look.Usually I like tort on red but for some reason I don't think it's going to be a good look with that bright red. The white isn't bad already though. What about white pearloid or black?
the TB pickguard exchange club!
Does anyone have a link to the correct size allen key to adjust the truss rod on a 2005 4-94? Every one I have is too long to fit in the neck hole, was wondering if any brand was short enough.
Thanks
Take a dremel and cut off about an 8th of an inch or so.Does anyone have a link to the correct size allen key to adjust the truss rod on a 2005 4-94? Every one I have is too long to fit in the neck hole, was wondering if any brand was short enough.
Thanks
Yes I had one made for my us 4460. Call Virgil at WD music parts . Lakland referred me to themI'd like one too. It's my understanding that you'll have to make a template or send in your pickguard to someone to have one cut.
This looks sooooooo coolI personally think the brown tortoiseshell looks great with CAR...
