I didn't get to take a lot of pics, helped working at LowEnd booth. But, I got to talk to Leo and I took this pic on the run!

Good grief, man... What's the tale on that last white one? And the white PJ with the accompanying jar of moonshine?

The white PJ is named "White Lightnin' " (hence the moonshine.....)

It is a passive PJ with V/T V/T.

Long story short (I will try)....The neck is from Black Beauty (55-76).....the body was the ORIGINAL P5 body hand cut by Carl as a "proof of concept" body....this was done WAY before the P5 prototype (the orange one that is floating around here somewhere)....Carl mated the 2 and made it a PJ at my request. It is painted "blue pearloid white" by Pat and has a pearloid guard which Carl told me he would NEVER cut a new one for this particular bass (the guard has a few odd angles etc). It has Hanson Vintage P and J (split J) pickups and the covers were painted to match by Pat. It is currently strung with Sadowsky Black label flats (which I hate to admit but I like!)

Here are a few samples of the bass (forgive the bad playing in spots and mistakes):

The Active J was built by Leo Lopez at lakland as one of his personal basses about a year ago....he found he rarely played it so he put it up for sale a bit ago. I saw a picture and wanted it....we swung a deal and it is now in the collection: Oly white with ebony board...LH3 pre-amp and Fralin J pickups. great sounding bass!
