I bought this here about a year ago and now I'm letting her go.

Big Black Swamp-ash body, Fralin Single Coil pickups...

Perfect Neck profile...and an extremely tight neck joint

The combination of ash body and singles on this bass = punch & growl all night long... it nails the classic jazz bass sound dead on. It's balanced, with a great presence in the low end and sweet singing highs. The Fralin pickups are clear and bright, without being brittle...The bass simply has a beautiful full, warm sound.

I'm convinced that Lakland does Fender better than Fender does. The new American Standards are just a little better than in recent previous years but when you play this bass it just sounds and feels right...
Comes with a hard roadrunner case.

I'm currently playing a Geddy Jazz. Can anyone compare the string spacing and neck width between the JO4 and the Geddy? I'd love to pick up a Lakeland but I really like the feel of the Geddy neck as I have smaller hands.

Joe, that's one nice bass there. I'm thinking about finding a home for it.

Thanks! Love to sell it thats for sure. Need the money for other things now. It is quite a small neck, you should have no problem with it.

JO's are sweet basses & the black ones don't come up for sale too often. Wish I'd never sold mine. I'd take this over a Geddy any day. Someones gonna be real happy with this!

Crap, just missed it. Jeremy, I don't like you.

Sorry, dude! I have a lot of karma built up from religiously observing order-of-PM's in my own sales...:)

When I get back on my feet, this one may go on the block again. You'll be the first to know!
