it is the same exact bass as the lakland fenderbird, but it has chi's , and thats my final answer pause it at 2:14

Almost. Except I am sure that the fingerboard has fret markers and the prototype LaklandBird has a plain maple fretboard. Everything else looks similar though.

I think it is a variation of the JE Fenderbird, but not quite the same. I want to know more.
And Jauqo, I meant no disrespect.
Brian got back to me and is getting more info. I also took a screenshot of a higher definition video and it 100% has fret markers and also the body contours look a little different than the prototype bird. IMO it is a second LaklandBird.

I heard that John was working with Lakland right before he died. I have no verification on this.
