Double Bass Laminated tops/backs from International Violin Company

Does anyone have experience with the Invalid Link Removed and Invalid Link Removed from this company? Also, any thoughts on their [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] and [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]? The solid backs/tops aren't carved, are they?

As far as I know they are not pre-caved.

Those laminated tops and backs are Engelhardt replacement parts. The solid tops and backs are simply lumber.

Thanks guys, I also emailed the company and just got this:

"They are arched and ready to go. They are made by Engelhardt and they will fit just about any bass. They leave room on the edge for you to cut the shape out. The maple has some figure and the top has straight grain."

Those plywood tops from Int'l are for Engelhardt only. Arnold's right on, again.
