Laminated tops/backs from International Violin Company

    Those laminated tops and backs are Engelhardt replacement parts. The solid tops and backs are simply lumber.

    Thanks guys, I also emailed the company and just got this:

    "They are arched and ready to go. They are made by Engelhardt and they will fit just about any bass. They leave room on the edge for you to cut the shape out. The maple has some figure and the top has straight grain."

    Okay, thanks. I don't read all the threads... mainly because I have a life. My question is answered.

    Those plywood tops from Int'l are for Engelhardt only. Arnold's right on, again.
