Laney tube amp problem - what to do?

Update: I found a different tech 30min away willing to take a look at it. Older guy working out of a super messy Oslo apartment. Luckily the beast showed itself the minute he hocked the amp up. Within seconds he confirmed it was a bad power tube. He showed me how the tube would start to glow like crazy.

So glad I took the advice of finding a different tech! I really like this amp.

Thanks for all the advice and moral support! :)
One tube going in runaway, probaby red and unhappy! Good you found it!

Do you suggest selling it broken or fixed? Telling a potential buyer it has issues or not telling? End of story? 😆
Sell it, keep it , doesnt matter to me. I just like Mesa gear. Been playing different amps since 1965 and finally found my holy grail of a bass amp. Just another tip from your old uncle Dbase ;)

What you think of his price? I was prepared to pay more, but I have no clue what the parts or work is supposed to cost. Guy has a rep for being a great tech.
For Europe and including a set of tubes, it sounds ok to me.
