A damp towel usually works just fine. You can use a solution of water mixed with isopropyl alcohol as well as long as it's under 50% (Isopropyl alcohol usually comes in 70% solutions, so 1 part water with 1 part alcohol will get you under 50%).
Whatever you do, don't use glass cleaners (e.g.Windex, 409, etc.) or anything with ammonia.
There are some commercial products that you can buy that will clean LCDs, but they're not anymore effective than the water and alcohol solution.
