Double Bass Large-bodied EUB?

I am looking for an EUB, but am put off by what most of them look like.

Are there any large-bodied instruments (ie acoustic upright size), or better still are there any medium-sized instruments (i.e. somewhere between an acoustic upright and the standard skinny EUB)?

FWIW I am based in the UK.

An azola acoustic baby bass is a very handsome-looking instrument, and while not large, definitely not a stick on a tripod. On the downside, they can't be flown easily, so they are not very good for touring, and they are hard to find.
