Larry Graham or Louis Johnson

Yeah man, don't limit yourself to reading about basses, bassists, and what not. Read Philosophy, Social criticism, Anthropology, and all the rest and you will see the connections between evreything.

I was always more a Louis fan than a Larry fan...

I wonder what Louis is doing now...
I got some footage I took at two concerts he performed at in the summer of 2002 he was using two different basses and an SWR rig. I was not impressed with his playing or his sound. It seems like his talent did not progress with his age. his style appears to be a little on the wild side thus preventing him from employing some of the newer techniques. As a matter of fact his thumping and popping seemed primative and without feeling. He has gotten back with his brother George and the two are touring again.

And don't forget the classics...

like Archie, Richie Rich, The Incredible Hulk, etc.

And watch the Karate Kid, lots of meaningful stuff there.
