Overall, it sounds more like an SRV type thing(with a whiff of Hound Dog Taylor), and the bass player is closer to what Leo Lyons did on the TYA “Undead” album. Or Shannon. The Heat had more of a roll to their rhythms, and didn’t have tempos nearly as frantic. Still, hot stuff.

Yep. I must admit I was thinking more of Larry Taylor’s playing on John Mayall’s “Jazz Blues Fusion” album than his Canned Heat work.

Regardless, that's some great playing and tone all around!
That guitarist's fingerstyle technique is outrageous and very musical.
