Laser Beam Dispertion

i think it should be called "drilling," because it sounds like the guitar is drilling a hole between your eyes. can't say i ever needed beam blockers on a bass rig, though. needed a damn tweeter blocker many times but guitar's what'll really do some damage.

'Laser' not necessarily, but 'beaming' is an acoustical engineering term applied to the narrow dispersion of large drivers. Explained here, in the section titled Usable frequency range
