Hello all. Glad to be here. I signed up some months back, but just now getting around to introducing myself. I'm a late blooming bassist. Only been playing a little more than a year. I'm 33 years old and picked up guitar off and on for about 15 years and could never stay interested. Bought a cheapo noname bass early 2005, hoping it would interest me more than the 6 string, and I was hooked! Oh I still poke around on guitar a bit too and even play a bit of drums. I've seriously caught the music bug after picking up bass. But I think of myself as a bassist first and foremost now. Currently trying to put together a band (me as bassist of course) with a couple buddies if they can get away from their wives and kids long enough to practice:) Luckily I have a wife who supports my new habit. She plays violin and a bit of guitar, so I foresee some collaboration in the future.

Thanks for having me...
