Sorry to bring up this thread again but do you have any sound samples of the bass? Also, what dimensions did you use for the bass? How big is the body's lenght and width?
I don't have any samples of the bass because I couldn't plug directly into Garageband without it overdriving all the time. I could try going through a few different things again to see if I can make it work later today.
The lower bout is 13.5 inches (34.3 cm) wide, the waist is 9.25 inches (23.5 cm) wide, and the length running down the middle (from where the neck (not fingerboard) meets the body to the strap button) is 13.25 inches long (33.7 cm). If you have photoshop I could send you a full scale rendering that you could print out.
I hope you figure out what the problem with GarageBand is but I'm sure it sounds great nonetheless. I would very much like to have your design template if you're giving out.
Alright, I finally found a decent way (and time!) to record a few clips of the bass:

Order of the different segments are: Both pickups on full, neck pickup only, bridge pickup only, futzing around with tremolo. Sloppy playing aside, that should give you a general idea of how the bass sounds.
Also, for those curious, the signal chain is: bass -> Warwick Pro FET 5.2 head (EQ set flat) -> 1/4" to 1/8" cable adapter -> 1/8" to USB adapter -> Garageband.
