Latest D Lakin bass

This is better looking than the first one you posted!

On the first one the MM pickup was off center. We corrected that with this one and the 3rd one was the best.

I don't have a big problem with the design. Maybe needs a bit of refining, but he's only made two.... Surely there will be teaks. Being the pioneer of the J/MM I enjoy the concept of this bass. Dan's a bass player and I trust him if he likes the bass. I know some folks that stopped by the shop and said the bass sounded great.

I am also very interested in the Dominick series. I wana play around with that 30" scale!
 
I just got one of these Shark 4's in. Great sounding MM style treble pickup. I will be enjoying this MM pickup better than the Bart's on my 44-94's. Since the Hanson MM sounds like the Bart MM, I'll include that as part of my description also. Dan's newer MM pickup sounds great. I would like to get a USA version of a Shark 4.
