Ld150 as a preamp?

Hi guys! First off, I`ve owned a LD150 for about a year now, and absolutely love it - I can`t say that enough! My only problem is it`s not loud enough for gigging. So, my question is - can I take the head out and mount it in a rack to use solely as a preamp. If so, will all of the presets / modeling work ? Pleeeease say yes !

You would void your warranty. But sounds like you are past the warranty anyway.

So yes, you could do that. Now, you may be thinking, there is no preamp out on the unit, right? Well, we discovered a happy accident. You can use the CD/MP3 input as a preamp out if you want to go into a power amp and speakers. Fun huh?

But, why don't you sell it and buy a 400 Pro combo?
